About the event
The Social needs of the Southern Tier are significantly worsening and growing at an alarming rate. Food insecurity is one need that affects individuals and families across the Southern Tier. No single organization can solve all the dire issues. The Southern Tier Meet Up on Community Wellbeing will unite and educate our community on the challenges and the progress that together the full network of partners who serve our region, by creating space for collaboration, shared learning, and collective action.
This inaugural gathering will:
Identify and Connect all stakeholders working to assist others and address food insecurity
Raise Awareness and Educate attendees on food insecure community members
Strengthen partnerships across churches, nonprofits, businesses, healthcare, education, and community groups
Build and Map a connected network, from sourcing and financing to preparing, distributing, and coordinating food logistics
Elevate and Create solutions rooted in compassion, service, and community wellbeing
